Sanskrit Bhasha Sadhana
The classes are conducted under the scheme “Learn Sanskrit in just 72 hours”. There is no bar whatsoever and any interested person can join the class. Any organisation or person can conduct the class and follow the specific curriculum. Sanskrit Bhasha Sadhana examination is conducted by Sanstha, twice a year and certificates are issued to successful candidates. Presently, Classes are held at Andheri, Dadar, Dahisar, Thane etc.
Sanskrit Sahitya Sadhana
These classes are conducted by the Sanstha every year and Sanskrit Bhasha Sadhana certificate holders or persons having requisite knowledge of Sanskrit language are eligible to join the class. The class is conducted in Sanskrit medium. Excerpts from ancient literature like Meghdoot, Neetishatak, Kadambari, work of Bhasa are studied.
Sanskrit Scholarship Examination
Sanstha conducts the scholarship examination every year on 1" Sunday of January. Students of 5", 6 and 7th standard are eligible to appear for the examination and cash prizes are awarded to the first three candidates of each standard. Consolation prizes are also awarded. Students from other standards can also appear for the examination, but are not eligible for cash prizes. All successful students are awarded certificates.
Bhagwadgeets recitation competition
Hundred shlokas are selected and compiled by Shri G.V. Karandikar for this purpose. The competition is open for all and is divided into three groups, namely, school students, college students and rests. These competitions are being held on Gurupournima and Geetajayanti every year.
Sanskrit Library
This library is being run for the members and has some ancient literature and reference books. Due to inadequate facilities, Sanstha is unable to open this facility for other Sanskrit lovers. Efforts are being made to widen the scope of the library.

How to become a member of Sanstha?
- Join Sanskrit Bhasha Sadhana class to learn the basics of Sanskrit language. Then appreciate and enjoy Sanskrit literature by joining Sanskrit Sahitya Sadhana class.
- Enroll as an external student for M.A. in Sanskrit in any University and work in school or college after the successful completion of the course.
- Organize or conduct Sanskrit Bhasha Sadhana class or join any of the existing classes as a teacher and supplement your earnings.
- Conduct the Sanskrit scholarship class and collect your remuneration by charging reasonable fees.
- Donate to the Sanstha on auspicious days like Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, etc. or purchase some books for presenting to others, especially to children on some occasions.

Objectives of the Sanstha
- To diffuse the knowledge of Sanskrit language in all cross sections of the society and create awareness of its importance as oldest classical language.
- To create a platform for learning Sanskrit language by starting Sanskrit Bhasha Sadhana classes at various places, thereby enabling the students to read, write and speak in Sanskrit language.
- "Catch them young" - To start various schemes and projects for school children.
- To start a library devoted to Sanskrit literature, with maximum efforts to have all types of Sanskrit books.
- To start a periodical in Sanskrit language to enhance the habit of Sanskrit reading.
- To co-ordinate with other institutions engaged in enhancing the knowledge of Sanskrit language. To prepare the teaching material, in tune with the modern teaching methods for Sanskrit language. This will increase the chances to earn suitable place for Sanskrit in school curriculum.
